CA Tribute to Robert Newton

The Christopher Conner Foundation is currently planning a fundraising benefit for Columbia musician, Robert Newton.  Robert, an amazing musician himself, has also taught some of the greatest music talent to come out of South Carolina including Chris Conner, Brian Conner, Les Hall, Patrick Davis, Jessie Jeffcoat, James Beresford, Charles Funk and the list goes on and on!  Robert's health has been an issue for the last several years.

The original August 20 date for this event has been pushed back to later in 2011 due to an overwhelming response from musicians who want to participate.  A date will be announced soon.  An online fundraising page will also be set up for those who would like to make a tax-deductible donation.
