As one of Robert's former students put it "Robert isn't just a guitar teacher, he's a life teacher. He's the most positive person I've ever known."
This event was originally scheduled for August 20, but has been moved back to late 2011 due to an overwhelming response from musicians who wish to participate in the event. We hope to announce a date very soon!

The Christopher Conner Foundation is currently planning a fundraising event in honor of Robert Newton. Robert is a local South Carolina musician, who is not only an amazing talent in his own right, but has taught some of the greatest musicians to come out of South Carolina. His students include Chris Conner, Les Hall (Crossfade), Patrick Davis, Jessie Jeffcoat, Jamie Beresford, Charles Funk, Daniel Kyre, Brian Conner and the list goes on!
